  • Hiring: Water/Wastewater Project Manager Applies diversified Knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments. Design or technical specialists at this level engage in work that requires the use of advanced techniques. Has responsibility of interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments. Able to successfully lead medium-to-large-sized projects. Must be capable of managing multiple projects. Primary Duties: Oversee and manage design and construction phase services for water and wastewater projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion within budget and timeline. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and sub-consultants to develop project plans and specifications. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges. Create and review project drawings, schematics, specifications, construction contract documents and other technical documents. Coordinate with sub-consultants to ensure timely delivery of services. Oversee and manage project construction phase services. Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report on key metrics to stakeholders. Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and contract requirements. Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. General Responsibilities: Participates in the preparation of the contractual agreements with the client. Reads and understands the requirements specified in the agreement. Participates in the selection of team members. Responsible for all correspondence to the client (either prepares or reviews). Maintains a complete project file (correspondence, e-mails, telephone, etc.). Project Supervision and Design: Responsible for overall design of water and wastewater projects. Contracts with required sub-consultants. Develops tasks to define the work for all phases of the project. Assigns project tasks, budget, and schedule to the team members. Monitors project for compliance with the budget, schedule and scope of work for all phases. Assists in the bidding and award of a project. Conducts periodic review of project with team members. Imparts daily guidance to the team. Periodically informs the client of project status. Attends required client / project meetings. Experience/Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 6 years of experience required Proven experience in management of water/wastewater projects, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning phases. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical specifications. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in project management software and tools. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Reports to Principals of the Firm

  • IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY! Multidisciplinary civil engineering and land surveying firm is currently accepting applications for CAD Civil 3D Design Technician to work in support of civil engineering and land surveying projects throughout South Carolina. The CAD Technician prepares and reviews working drawings, details, layouts, surveys and estimates. Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects. Prepares design computation and quality estimates. Draft detailed drawings of surveys, structures and installations such as roads, subdivisions, culverts, water supply systems, sewage collection systems and related facilities. Plot maps and charts showing profiles and cross-sections, indicating relation of topographical contours and elevations to site conditions. May coordinate work of CAD operators. Serves as a trainer and mentor to other CAD staff. Understands and follows the Company’s standard CAD procedures. Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary by supervisor. Salary based on experience. This is a full-time position, 5 days/40 hr work week. Reports to CAD Manager. Requirements: High School graduate (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years applicable job experience required. Graduation from an acceptable technical school or satisfactory completion of a portion of college/university engineering curriculum may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience. Computer literacy required. Good people and communication skills required. Strong knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D is required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ESRI GIS experience a plus. Ability to meet competing deadlines. Organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The Survey Crew Chief will be responsible for the accurate and effective collection of survey data to be used in the preparation of plats and civil engineering design plans, and the overall management of the survey crew. Must have experience in route surveys, construction staking, traversing, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, control surveys, and other fundamental survey fieldwork. The applicant should be knowledgeable in operating conventional total station surveying equipment, survey grade RTK GPS equipment, Levels, Data Collectors, etc., and maintaining survey vehicles. This is an outdoor, field position. Sound physical condition is a must! The Survey Crew Chief reports directly to the Survey Manager. Pay will be based on experience. Requirements: An Associate's degree in engineering or surveying from an ABET-accredited curriculum or high school diploma with equivalent related experience is preferred. Experience working on civil engineering and land surveying projects is required. Must pass drug screening and background check. A valid Driver's license and transportation to work is required. Sound physical condition is a must! The Survey Crew Technician reports to Survey Party Chief and the Survey Manager. This position may require occasional travel. Requirements: Associate's degree in engineering or surveying from an ABET-accredited curriculum or high school diploma with equivalent related experience is preferred.
